Re: Alan is almost ready to drive 900 miles.

Yes these are complete swaps I do, the older K-Car P/S systems (My experience is with 85-89 units) are a very similar internal pump to the 1996-2000 Caravan units which use a remote reservoir as the main difference run from factory ATF+ fluid. I'd say its more a personal preference as to what you wa...

Re: Alan is almost ready to drive 900 miles.

I've switched all my cars power steering to ATF (+4 in the K, Dex in the Sunfire) through techinical training I learned it supports the seals longer and causes less rubber/ metal breakdown.

Re: You K-Car techs at the CKCC our the future and hope.

Re: LAST LAST 1983 CANADIAN CARAVELLE 4DR TO BECOME EXTINCT!

Its definitely a rust bucket, its a 1983 car in a region of Ontario that uses some of the harshest salt/sand mixtures in North America, I had a 1987 that was in terrible shape because of it. I saw this ad about a month ago but haven't acted because as the picture shows its not even worth the gas to ...

Re: 2011 Show pictures

I like it too, no need to be original when building or having a ride built to suit you, if its for you it is, if it isn't keep it to yourself as everyone has individual and un-exact tastes.
