Re: How do you guys do it? Roadsalt

Rustproofing is a big business up here, a yearly application of an oil mixture undercoating the car, plus spraying into holes drilled in trunk lid, hood, fenders, rockers etc. where ever moisture collects.
Costs $100 or more but certainly helps retard corrosion.

Re: say hello to my Ugly Duckling - '88 Reliant 2.5L Wagon

Welcome to the club, glad to have another Canadian KCar lover in the area. Two other local members that are active on the forum are Will Hall in Guelph and David near Paris, each have several Ks. All or cars are stored for winter as we know what road salt does to these cars. We will have to plan to ...

Re: KISS YOUR K GOODBYE

Not ready to kiss mine goodbye, have been very lucky that there have been very few problems so far.

Would like to get hold of the shop and wiring manuals for the '82 LeBaron (Mark Cross Convertible) and 2.6L Mutsu. engine if not in the manual.

Thanks

Re: Left flasher not working but the lights are all on

Check all the bulbs again, had that problem once and with one bulb out it did not put enough load on the flasher unit to make it work properly.

Re: Rear Springs?

Finally the shocks, struts and springs are replaced and alignment done. The car rides and steers so much better as it was overdue for the treatment and well worth the approx. $700 it cost for the parts and the alignment. :P  :P

Re: New Forum....Welcome!

Welcome David, we are few and far between in Ontario and have talked of a gathering but never pulled it together. My LeBaron goes to storage by Thanksgiving so early spring is the time to talk about having a meeting for the summer. As Will mentioned, the Ont. Chapter forum is not vey active but if y...

Re: Rear Springs?

Well finally, the rear springs and shocks are installed. I got variable rate springs that have lifted the rear up a bit, looks odd ( to me after all these years ) at first glance but it actually makes the car level. I had hoped to get the complete front strut asssembly, no such luck, but all the par...

Re: Chrysler K-Cars took over San Pedro, Ca.

I noticed the White Thunderbird in some of the photos.
Does someone in the club own it and have the KCar / T Bird combo as I do?
