Re: 83 Chrysler E-Class for sale!

Hope someone can go for it. I was interested, and even talked to the guy on the phone- my wife even said OK- but (there's always a but), I'd have to give up my 68 Plymouth Fury to do so. I don't think I'm ready to do that, she didn't think we could afford trying to restore two cars and, unfortunatel...

Re: Post Here! What color is you K-car???

Where did you/do I go about getting those airbags? The leaf springs on my 68 Fury are rather weak from age and I was thinking of replacing them and supplementing them with air shocks to keep the fenders up off my tires/wheels, but now I'm wondering if I'd be better off leaving the leaf springs alone...

Re: Nationwide Chrysler Show. Sacramento, Ca. July 2009.

Thanks Tom, I will definitely check it out. Already checked out the WPC Chrysler Parts Club and am thinking of joining it, as well. May have to watch myself- make sure I don't spread myself- and my money- too thin. haha

Re: Nationwide Chrysler Show. Sacramento, Ca. July 2009.

I will definitely plan on being there as I live in Woodland, only some 20 miles out of Sacramento. I am so glad to have been given a heads-up on this event. So many times it seems like I hear about them AFTER they've occurred. This sounds like it will be a real treat. And my 68 Plymouth Fury will de...

Re: Winter projects for our club. While your cars hibernate.

Darn! Sorry, I'm going to stretch this thread way longer than it should be. Just to keep the record straight, I own the Plymouth and the Chrysler 300, I no longer own the E-Class, but have often wished I had kept it. I know where it went, someday I may see if I can track it down. Also, if you click ...

Re: Winter projects for our club. While your cars hibernate.

Oops, I should have provided a link to the sample album I set up. Here it is. See if you think something like this will work for the club's purposes.

Re: Winter projects for our club. While your cars hibernate.

I know I have mentioned using Picasa, which is a free album service provided by Google- there is an upgrade a person can pay for, but I doubt it would be needed for the club's purposes. The album can be kept private, made public, be password protected (the ID and password could be shared with all cl...

Re: old couple 1985 chrysler new yorker Turbo

btw, it probably didn't hurt that the male voice helped to perpetuate the KIT car image.

Re: old couple 1985 chrysler new yorker Turbo

To my knowledge, there was no choice. I know no matter how I say this, its going to sound bad- my only defense is that my wife agrees with me. Some friends of ours at that time had a Toyota Maxima that also had some kind of voice alert system- with a female voice. It was weird the difference it made...

Re: 83 Dodge Aries for sale, $200

Well, it wasn't posted again today, so that may, or may not, mean anything. I did send an email to find out if it was still available (my phone just went on the blink and needs to be replaced or I would have called). As soon as I hear back, I'll post the reply.
