Re: Hey all! New from Utah

Hi and welcome. Noticed you are from Orem. I'm familiar with the area. My family loved for a while in Payson and Santiquin (plus my wife has a sister in Clearfield, further north). I used to live in Evanston, WY, so often came down through Heber City and the canyon to visit my folks. If I had known ...

Re: old couple 1985 chrysler new yorker Turbo

EVA? Our 83 E-class had a male "voice" that would say things like "A door is ajar" or "Please fasten your seatbelt" and a bunch of other things like "Please" and "Thank you". Is that what you are referring to? We used to have our kids' friends come c...

83 Dodge Aries for sale, $200

http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/931228337.html

Posted this in the other cars and parts thread, but then I saw this thread, and wondered if maybe I had used the wrong thread. Just in case, am posting it again.

Just an FYI- I was actually the guest who posted this info. Guess I wasn't logged in. Thought someone might be interested in the car.

Re: k-car against K-car

That's the scary part. Fortunately, no one got hurt- this time, but a driver like that will do something just as dumb- or dumber- again, and not everyone may be as fortunate the next time. Scaar eey!

Re: k-car against K-car

Sorry, I just read your account in the other thread. You had good reason to be upset with such stupid drivers. Personally, I think California is starting really experience the effects of not requiring Drivers Training in school for some time now. All kids have to do is wait until their right age, pa...

Re: k-car against K-car

As long as you're not going slow in the left lane, I've got no problem. But if you're in the left lane and refusing to move over to let the faster traffic go by, I'll run you over too, K car or no K car. (Not saying that's what YOU'RE doing, but I have no patience with left laners who think all they...

Re: Fire is loose in my city! Pray for me! Major Fire

Glad to hear you, your family, property- and your car are safe. I saw some pictures of the devastation, and saw some vintage cars- like a 50s era Pontiac- that didn't make it. One series of pictures was showing a guy pumping up the tires and pushing his old 1929 Roadster out of his garage and down t...

Re: Avitar redone

Perhaps you could set up a group album in Picasa. I understand its a basic free service from Google. I am including a link to my albums to give you an idea of what it can do. There are chess collecting groups that use Picasa to post photos of collections, chess sets, information, whatever and as a r...

Re: Problems Starting 1981 LeBaron

I had a 78 LeBaron (which I wish I still had) that had a similar-sounding problem. Turns out the choke was set way too heavy from the factory and the computer had finally given up trying to compensate for it. In the meantime, the plugs would foul about every 10,000 miles, it didn't get that great of...
