Re: Mopar Show: Bremerton, Washington

Here are the sales brochures that I put in my windshield when I show my car. Any ideas how to make them stand out a little more? http://i51.tinypic.com/2ewjzut.jpg Your car is so beautiful that I wouldn't too much worry about it. I've won a lot of shows with my car and I don't have any of that stuf...

Re: Wow no new post

When your financial priorities turn toward more immediate needs, then other things become secondary. So you're going to see people who are more in survival mode versus a pleasure mode. Car forums and other spare time pleasures become less prevalent in theirs lives. Good times, as well as bad are cy...

Re: I drive my K-car more than most of you I wager.

I've driven mine to Louisiana at least three times which is over 2,000 miles round trip without any problems. And it's been to Arizona, Oregon, and Washington several times, it really is a great road warrior. It just turned 60,000 original miles on it, and I still really enjoy driving it!

Re: Snow in New Mexico: A 1981 FWD K story

That was an excellent story Jim! We can all buy a previously owned K-Car, but you can't buy the experiences that the car went through, or know its story. You truly have the experience of first person recollections of the original K-Car craze, ownership, and its aftermath. Thank you for sharing!

Re: Drove the lady's 1988 Chrysler LeBaron 2.5 Sedan

I've owned my car for 8 years and it has been exceptionally quiet, and there has never been any type of valve noise whatsoever. That's why I've always loved my 2.5 liter engine, except when the head gasket took a dump earlier this year. Guy has driven my car and knows exactly how smooth and quiet i...

Re: update on the 1981.5 Plymouth Reliant

That is Jims, seems you missed the sale Chief. I haven't been around lately due to health reasons, but now it all makes sense! He just went out and bought the cleanest 1981 K-Car out there! That's fortunate for Justin to get Jim's '81 K-Car, it was already a competition level show car. K-Cars like ...
