Re: Drove the lady's 1988 Chrysler LeBaron 2.5 Sedan

My '82 sounds like a sewing machine, with only 39,000 miles, I think the early K 2.2 all had that noise. I remember back in 1981 a Plymouth saleman telling me not to buy the Mitsi 2.6 because of all the regular valve adjustments that were supposed to be in the maintenance schedule. I bet most of the...

Re: Update on the baron

Still interested in the TC3, wanted to buy one of those where they were new but didn't.

Let me know if the person wants to get rid of it, especially if free, I will come and get it. Stick or automatic?? Most of those VW motors turned into major oil leakers and burners, not the best motor.

Re: Pictures taken in 1981 of my new Reliant

Glad to see my pics live on! Little known fact: I had a custom console made for the floor hump, afead of the bench seat. It was made out of wood, covered in formica by a table-making friend of mine, had 2 cut outs for pop cans and held an 8 track player inside it, as well as 2 speakers mounted on th...

Justin, I would be interested in 1 or both of the Omnis, if they are salvageable and the drivelines are not seized.

Re: My top 10 K cruising songs

Back in 1982, I had a side business of placing jukeboxes and an arcade store with that new inovation called video games. In 1982, we used 45rpm records and some of the most popular ones we had to replace all the time, due to them being played so much they actually wore out were: Stray Cats: Rock thi...

Re: My K-cars are comming T shirt

That shirt was listed as available in the promotional packet originally released to the Plymouth and Dodge dealers in August of 1980. Some dealers gave them away with a test drive, others tried to sell them in the parts department. I believe the shirts were actually first promoted with the K mart ro...

Re: Midwest website back up and running

I bet it would even nicer with a a pic of my '82 Spring Special! It was parked 2 cars down from that pic of the LB convertible I took at the Belvidere car show. I would post another pic, but the "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been met" still shows up when ever I try to add a pic. Y...
