Re: My First New Car

Drums in back and Discs in front was fairly standard when disc brakes first started being introduced. For a while the upgrade was to disc brakes all around and eventually disc brakes became standard. No matter how you're equipped, they should stop much better than the way you are describing. Brakes ...

Re: Found the LARGEST stash of 80s cars left.GANGBANGER LAND

Baron, the landscape around the Bart in Alameda-Newark looked the same in 2006 to me when I was there, a lot of surviving 80s cars. I would say even now, unless you know otherwise, that is a Frisco badland area with lots of rare stuff stashed. I know 5 years has passed though and maybe your area we...

Re: Found the LARGEST stash of 80s cars left.GANGBANGER LAND

The ENTIRE landscape of the badlands were dominated by 80s GM Products of almost every sort! :D etc.

No wonder those black youths were so angry.

Re: FLICKR found us an 82-83 LeBaron HARDTOP in SoCal.

Not a Hardtop. Coupe maybe, but no hardtop. There is no such thing as a K-Car hardtop. Hardtops were a thing of the past by time the K's came on the auto scene.

Re: So why is Guy driving around in the Toyota ?

I think we should get together and do an Intervention.

Guy is obviously addicted to driving trash cars and we need to cut off his supply and help him to finally break this awful habit.

Re: Alan tried to jumpstart an 88 Nissan Sentra.

I was at the gas station filling Alan yesterday. Three young men approaching me asking for me to help them jumpstart a gold 1988 Nissan Sentra 4dr Sedan. So, I took my American car over to try to jumpstart the Japanese car. It would crank but not start. Did not work. Alan drove away. The Nissan sta...
