If not, could be partially clogged injectors!

My 1986 lebaron, starts right up and I can start out with no problems.

Has the mechanic checked for fault codes???

2 K-cars are always better than one, you should go to some mopar shows, there you prolly will win a trophy or two, 475 is a good bargain jack, but how does this one sound i got my 1986 Reliant for 150.00 with only 85,000 0n it back in 2007, now its got 98,000 and is completely restored from chassis...

The trouble codes are listed in the Hanes Repair Manual for Dodge Aires and Plymouth Reliant 1981
thru 1989 manual #723 on page 320.
