Re: I found and drove a 1983 Chrysler E-Class with 158,000.

So how did you like driving the E-Class? Rode better than a regular K-car, right? Longer wheelbase and all that. Which engine did it have - I suspect the 2.6. With the 2.6 it probably felt a little underpowered but was still decent. It looks pretty beat up but at that price I could almost afford it....

I'm sorry to hear the news. I am touched that even at such a time in her life she is still striving to find it a good home. If I had the money I would try to be the one to continue the legacy. I hope she is successful in her efforts in finding it a good home and, even more importantly, that everythi...

Re: UUGGGH! 1988 windshield might be a loss.

Re: 1982 LeBaron Convertible

Disconnect your gas line from the gas tank, probably the closer to the 'carb' the better, stick the end in fresh can of gas and run it for a while and see if it runs better. A lot of it could be bad gas in the gas tank. Either has lots of rust and crud or a layer of water or both or.......

Re: Starting troubles- 1979 Cordoba

Does it have the Lean Burn system (it should say so on the air cleaner cover, if it does)? Your problem sounds a lot like the problem I had with my 78 LeBaron with the Lean Burn system. If so, have them check the choke settings. Mine was set so heavy that the choke never totally went off so the car ...

Re: CKCC Roadtrip a Massive Success. Living in K-CAR HEAVEN.

2. I drove very slowly 55-60, and did my best to hold up people to make sure
the 6 Ks stayed in a row.

Yeah, that'll make everyone love K-cars all the more.

Seriously, sounds like it was sight to see once you got them all parked at the airport.
