Welcome to the club smithrnr. What is your real name? Absolutely, your car is EXTREMELY rare and nearly all the 81 K-cars have been junked forever. Out of the 300,000 made, less than 1% have survived that we
know of. We estimate your wagon to be perhaps 1 of 50 left, and a 30 year old classic at that. We would love to see some pics of it. So, how can we help you and your car? 8)

I originally posted in the Members/Guests section about me eventually acquiring my friend's 1986 Chrysler LeBaron..(kind of curious why every post has to be approved?)

After taking a two hour test drive with my friend, I extracted these issues (not that they're that big of an issue, but I noticed them):

-Rough idle, acceleration issues

    -Throttle cable replacement?
    -Turbo lag?
    -Needs tune up?
    -Spark plugs?
    -Fuel delivery system?
    -Cooling system issues?

-Steam visible while going over bumps

    -Leaking radiator?
    -Damaged thermostat?
    -Overfilled radiator?

-Exhaust smell

    -Leaking exhaust system?
    -Damaged manifold?
    -Damaged muffler?

-Windshield fluid issues

    -Clogged lines?
    -Clogged sprayers?
    -Shorted pump relay?

-Power Lock/Window issues; Power Mirror issues

    -Mirror switch dead?
    -Driver side window crank broken?
    -Driver side door issues?

-Electrical system issues

    -Alternator?
    -Wiring?
    -Battery?

-Gauge Cluster

    -Not original? 57k miles
-1986 LeBaron's had silver cluster, not black?
    -Fuel gauge shaky?
    -Voltmeter failed/failing?

-VIN identification

-Door(s) doesn't(don't) have one

Maybe I'm a little superstitious on a few of those problems.
