Welcome to the club. Basically, you do the key dance. You turn the key in the ignition three times, without turning on the car. Then, you wait and count all the flickers of the power
loss light. Each set of flickrs is a digit of a two digit number. 3 flickers is 3. then a pause, then more flickrs for the second digit. Count these and you will have the code number. Let me know what you come up with. We do have a diagnostic code list somewhere on this forum, but if you let me know what you get, I can look it up for you. By the way, what is your name? Where are you from? Do you have the 85 Dodge 600 convertible or the nearly extinct 2dr hartdop or 4dr sedan. Please send pics if you can. 8)

Cool, that would indicate a 55, which means normal end of the scale. It brings me great joy to hear you have a sedan. The 1983-1985 Dodge 600 sedan completely disappeared from the roadways locally in the last two years and now only surface on worldwide craigslist once a month. Your car is particarly rare and special to me with that eggcrate grill. Oh please, oh please send pics when you can. Oh, at 25 years, your car is a classic and you are eligible to join the Antique Auto Club of America if you don't mind ruffling a few feathers. We are pioneers in the classic car hobby by trying to make it available to everybody and a lot of people don't like our cars because their different and "not-powerful" or "flashy". But, we are at classic status now and saving the K-cars from extinction is our goal. We estimate there to be 400 85 600 Sedans left in the world. 8)
