I am replacing the CV axles on my 83 Lebaron Mark Cross Convertible, 2.6 liter, manufacture May 10, 83. My question is this. In my Chrysler repair manual it shows that a wear sleeve fits between the wheel hub and axle. The axles I pulled did not have this part on them. I am sure the axles have been changed before. Would anyone know what the part number is for this part? I called a Chrysler dealer and his microfiche only goes back to 84. Anyone have a couple they might sell?

I would try going through your local Mopar dealer first. There is probably a minimum order requirements / minimum shipping charges if you try to order it directly yourself.
