The Chrysler K-Car Club

My '88 Plymouth America is basically the same car...I think. And for the past two years I have been having similar problems: hard to start, stalling, missing. My mechanic (San Pedro Chrysler) has tried "everything" almost. But the problem keeps reoccuring. The best "fix" was some kind of ignition part with a lot of "pins". I thought my troubles were done.

But it is reoccurring for the umpteenth time. Only now it is easy to start even when cold, but still misses

Does anyone know another Chrysler mechanic so I can get a second opinion?
