Struts & Carb HELP!
Posted: Sun Apr 26, 2009 6:32 pmI’m a new member and looking forward to upcoming events, I just bought a garage kept 1982 Dodge 400 conv. near mint with 32K mi. on it SWEET!
Here are the two things it needs,
1) THE CARB. When I start it cold the idle is a little high (normal) in about 5 min. it lowers and is very rough with some dying, but on the road it runs great with the foot on the gas….ANY HELP??? And if so where can I buy parts for this carb.
2) The suspension is shot… any good places to shop for struts? And what brand to use? Should I replace the springs with only 32K?
OH..one last thing, what octane should I use with the 2.6?
