A big welcome to our new leader. Charles F.Connell.

Awesome news for the club:

Charles Connell, a fairly new member, has volunteered to be the EastCoast
K-Car event president, and has bought three K-cars since joining the club
in December. He is also donating his time and money to the club. I need
as many of you to support him as possible. I will be working with these gentlemen
to assist them in getting something started in that part of the world. Jeff Lepsak
of Conneticut formed the first meet in Conneticut last Summer. He will be a great asset.
A young lady in Florida expressed some interest in attemtping meets in Florida. Tom
of Pennsylvania has 12 K-cars, and he could be a base with which to grow Pennsylvania
meets. The possibilities are endless. Also, I think the K-passion is much stronger
back east then in California, so I think we can accomplish great things. After all, isn't
going to a car show and meeting up with fellow CKCC people better than just posting on
a blog? Long live the CKCC.

Your CKCC President

Charles:
Do you have any pictures of your 3 K-cars? Is one of your cars that nice low mileage 4dr sedan 89 that was for sale in Long Island?

Welcome Charles. Always glad to meet another K lover.
I agree about the mirrors. I like a stock car. Add all the accessories you want, but don't take anything away.
Cant wait to see photos.
All the best.

I never noticed the 89 blue car it did not come with a factory right side mirror. I just assumed all K-cars came with a pair of factory outside mirrors. Its nice to have but I would not be a deal breaker for me. I wonder if there are any other things that are missing for cost savings in 1989?

In the 50's lots of things on the low cost model Dodges were optional including: directional signals, a second horn, a passenger side sun visor, a horn ring, a radio, a drivers side external door lock cylinder, passenger side mirror, etc.

"Welcome Charles"...there will never be enough lovers of K-Cars, caring owners are even rarer than the cars themselves!
