After having the coolest summer in 50 years, the HEAT suddenly hit us today at the tailend of the season. We averaged 5-7 degrees below normal
this year and I was even running at noon time because it was in the 80s most of the time. Then today, this subtropical moisture poured in and it was partly cloudy
most of the day until 2PM, in which it was only 95F. The sun broke through and it suddenly rose to 104-107F by 3PM with high humidity and it felt like a deadly sauna. This heat is suppossed
to continue until Sunday. I have no A.C., but I am beating the heat by going to Orange County tommorrow where it should only be 85-90F. So, we officially had a normal summer high with
our first heat wave in the year near the end of August. I was hoping NOT to reach 100F, but we did finally.
