Is dyno testing very stressful to your car? I've heard comments both ways. Or does it depend on the operator?

Reving past peak power and torque could cause damage, Dyno operators will let off when off when power starts falling or instructed to let off at a specific RPM determined by the customer. In the case of our 2.5's it would be pointless to rev it over 5600 RPM as no one made any gains in power or torque above that level. As with the Vipers, 99% of them aren't high mileage cars ( as you can imagine )and are still in good shape.
