MAJOR SUCCESS FOR OUR K-CAR CLUB. BIG MEET ASTOUNDING.

We had 10 K-Cars! We had 10 K-Cars! We won awards! We tooks 100s of photos! We only had one no-show! I made over 20 phone calls! I called our new member 6 times as she got lost on
the road! We met some new technicians! Long live the K-Car.

A big thanks to all of you for our sucess. 4 of the 10 K-car owners that showed up received award plaques for FWD Class Stock of the 80s. Butch and his friend won a stock award too.

Larry Moss ( VP of the SoCAL SDAC chapter) with a pristine 89 CSX and I won FWD MODIFIED awards. I was totally shock as I don't consider my car a "show car ". My 86 Laser in a 2.5 T2 conversion with mods. We had a great time, more people than I expected showed an interest in our cars. I almost backed out due to the caliber of cars there on Sat. but decided to enter on Sunday for the benifit of the 2 clubs. As it was Larry and I were the only 2 SoCal SDAC members there. Now I'd love to win an award for my Harley BUT THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. HAHA
