1st Chrysler K-Car Club Repair Meet. Sun, Aug 16th,09. 4-7PM

The grand experiment has been set up. The first monthly K-car repair meet will be held in a parking lot behind Wendys in Van Nuys, California near Mike Flanagan's house. Mike has offered the use of his expertise
and the location to build a repair site to help this club stay alive. Logistics have not been worked out yet. The idea is to save everybody money, learn how to work on cars or get some help, build camaradie, and not
lose money. Of course, I will have pre-printed liability release forms as there ain't no way I'm getting sued if the guy I recommend is less than perfect or something happens beyond my control. The club members who need help who should or might be there are:

Yeah, considering I nearly flunked my class because I refused to cancel the roadtrip. Also, ANY club activity doesn't happen unless I do most of the work. Sorry, but thats life. I was very upset last night about
having to reschedule a third time because of a class emergency last night. I thought about the reaction it would cause. Plus, I never received any confirmations from fellow members. However, I decided to the gentlemen thing and I called everybody last night and they appreciated it that I called them, even if they rarely call me. A thankless job it is sometimes being a club president. Butch, I'm sorry, but I allowed school and club stuff to clash. I promise that pending a fatal heart attack, there is no possibility that the 12th will be postponed.

Oh yeah, speaking of heart attacks (bad pun), I hope Jim of Guelph, Ontario made it through the night. He suffered a massive heart attack two days ago
and his survival did not look promising. His username on this board is vetcaravelle. Will Hall, our Ontario leader, recruited Jim into the club and now
is keeping vigil and watching his property.
