Would Like to hold a K-car meet

Hello, I would love to hold a K-car meet for those of us on the southeastern coast. I live in Florida and would love to hold it somewhere here in Florida. However, I am not sure if there are any interested members since it seems most meets are held in California. I am new to the forum but the original owner of a K-car. Let me know if anyone is interested and if so maybe we can get a meet together.

Hi there. Welcome to the club. Well, I think the interest is there. We just need a dedicated leader to motivate the Floridians into doing something. We have 23 members there. Very few people in any organization are leaders. Most our followers. I have asked several people to lead a Florida chapter, but have not received any commitment. We do have our first Conneticut chapter starting to have a meeting. 8)

I would be willing to host a meeting and or meets and be the leader of the Florida chapter if there are people interested in attending. I am pretty active in other car clubs as well. Where would be the best place for me to post?

i have plans to attend bike week in daytona beach in a couple years.....provided i get my 86 aries wagon restoration/modification done by then. i have a trailer hitch on my car and hope to haul my 72 honda cb350, 81 silverwing and a buddy's bike to florida in like 2012 if everything falls into place. so plan the gathering to be around that time for me please! the laconia, nh bike week (one of the big 3 in the country) just kicked off yesterday and im taking this coming friday off to ride up (only 1.5 hours from me). almost done putting money/time into my 72 suburban and then it is on to the k car restoration. wish i could get a rust free florida 4 door sedan super cheap up here to cut the rockers, floors and rear quarters out of. hate to cut up a good wagon and the 4 doors share much of same sheetmetal.
