Have a safe trip! Wish you were coming to LA. If you can, please send lots of pics and video clips. We can do a thread on your K car trip. I still need to get pics uploaded of our last show and the K car trip I took to Sacramento. By the way, are you driving straight without sleep like Charles Lindbergh, the aviator who went across the Atlantic, or are you stopping for four or five nights?

I'll try to take lots and I will be stopping for rest. I'm not risking my car for a trip to get the same car fixed.

Well I'm leaving Nebraska today and I will drive non-stop today and night till I reach my Vegas hotel. This is the only hotel i've been in with WiFi cause my satellite internet failed. Things that have gone wrong: Right rear tire went flat then shreded had a full-size spare freaked me out, left front headlight went out. So far I've spent $167 on gas. I'll win that restoration if it kills me... joking. I'd take the Caliber for $400 to nothings gone wrong with it. Its spent $214 on gas going the same course.

Sorry I've been gone so long but when I came back I had so much work to catch up on plus paying recieving charges for shipping the car. Guess I was to afraid to drive it back because by the time I got there the car was having some severe lurching and vibarations when I made a sharp turn either direction. Any ideas? Anyway it made it strong and proud to LasVegas. So i'm back to work and waiting for my car to be picked up for resto. which is good because someone hit the front passenger door (with what i dont know). I'll try to post pics soon too. Saw a bunch of K's so I'll go over the pics I took of them and give you the list.

Looking forward to hearing some of your adventures and seeing some pictures. Did our beloved K Cars get some recognition when you got there?
How extensive a restore will they be doing for you?
Bring us up to date when you get a chance.

Hope you had a fun trip. Hope nothing major is wrong with the steering. I have to do some work to my 1984 Aries too. Body (accident damage not rust) & Paint, undercoating, brake work, and rewire the turn signals. Im taking it off the road this spring and giving my Aries the summer off but next summer it'll be like new!! Keep in touch W. Hall & Martin, I'm not far away. (Peterborough, Ontario). Have a good one.
