2nd CKCC Concours d'LeMons Show. August 16th, 2014.

I am going on a small vacation. I am going to the most fun event of the
year in Monterey. A show for all the killed off unloved classic cars left
in California. The Concours LeMons at Seaside Park in Monterey, Ca. on Sat,
August 19th. Like me, the leader does everything for free, the show is
free, the prizes are free, all you have to do is show up. We had three
K-cars there last year, including a nice guy I met named Larry. I am really
hoping maybe Larry and Joe Baca can make it, so I am not the only K-car
there, but it doesn't really matter. I will be there with my brother
Charles having fun, and spending two days with my friends the Nicolinis at
their dairy farm near Sacramento. I am banking that my 86 wagon will get me
there without blowing up on me. Free registration and details below. By the
way, the only cheap hotel now is Motel 6 in Coalinga off I-5, 2 hours from
the show. The Monterey car crazed event not only includes our show, but the
expensive wealthy car shows where it is $100 bucks to get in. Better find a
friend or register for Motel 6 immediately online. My brother and I will be
splitting costs (smart). Gas is also going down right now, (Yes!)
This show is special enough for me to get up at 5:30 AM-6:00 AM, grab
breakfast, and take a beautiful scenic coastal range drive from Coalinga to
Monterey. I am really looking forward to it.
Only the backside of my car is in the pictures below, but we did have three
K-cars. The Vega club beat us with seven Vegas, the most at any gathering
anywhere in the USA .
