Mopars at the strip

Postby Butch » Wed Mar 18, 2009 10:05 pm

Man I just spend 2 days working on the Laser getting it ready to drive from L.A. Ca. to LasVagas Nv. and I'm still not done. Yep 2 days spent CLEANING IT, I really should wash it more than once a yr I guess. The last time I was there was 2005 and Kenny Wayne Shepard was rocking out at the Cannery. Can't wait to get there as that's one of the best dragstrip I've ever been to and the concert is FREE.

Man I had a GREAT TIME, only one K Car there. Was an 85 Lebaron with a T2 convertion than ran a 12.80 Not bad all all. My fellow SDAC member ran an 11.90 In his Omni. Also there was an 87 CSX, 84 Rampage of SoCal SDAC pres. Allan Jones and 1 Neon. Something that really blew everybodies mind was a Diesel powered Funny Car that ran 8.90's The concert on Sat night REALLY ROCKED !!!! The drive home was nerve racking with very high winds and rain. But it was worth it.
