Hey, that's my buddy Karl's old car. Rare indeed; he figured it was one of well under 100 and may even be 1 of 2.

Wow that car would suck. Be like driving a model T. I can see the desireability in a rare car that has ALL the options but one that has none? I honestly don't see how that's appealing at all. I appriciate it's rarity but I certainly wouldn't want it to actually drive (no RADIO? WTF?)

you know what taxiguy, YOU CAN GO AND HUMP YOUR SELF. any K-car with a stickshift is rare. its the same thing as driving a base model plymouth satelight, no options at all, same goes for this K-car, and with only 100 of these Aries and Reliants in 1985 equiped with the A 460, id say it would be a fun car to have.

It good Drag Car material, you know how hard it is to find a manual rack for these cars let alone a stick shift ? Too bad there ain't more like it around.

I agree a car with nothing at all is the best. I drove 700km is a no options at all Valiant and it is the ultimate connection between man and machine. It is a sad world we live in where we think these creature comforts are essential to a car. Bare bones are the best cars to own, less to go wrong as my mom would say  . I would personally love this car for the sheer connection you could have between it and you with no distractions. Base model FTW!

Bare bones and connection between man and machine is fine, I'd be the first to want the connection, but I live in California and there is no way I'm going without any AC (where I live it was over 100 today, btw)! So I wouldn't judge either side.

I would love to own a bare bones 81 Reliant with no roll down windows and the metal dashboard.

It was 109 where I live today and I went about my business without A/C no problem at all. Open all your windows and go 60km/h and your in business. I'm not a fan of A/C either way. But to each his own.
