Club Wishlist

Here is my wishlist for the club:

1. A complete scan of all K-Car sales brochures to be uploaded to the website for all our needs.
2. A complete scan of all repair manuals for our website.
3. A google mapping system where each member is tracked by a redstar (city location, no address) so that we actually know where
everybody is and can start local car shows. Cost of the program could be $120. Hhm, I am thinking donations here perhaps. I have no money and this club is free. I can't do it all alone.
4. I wish local members would do better in staying in touch by phone and email. I hate waiting at a car show hoping for 8 cars when only 4 show up.
5. More members locally. California seems to have a lack of interested K-car owners. You guys have way more resources to tap into then we import crazy Californians.

#1 I can accomplish by New Years.

#3 I can get a chintzy one within a few days at no-cost.

#2 It would take a very long time if you want it scanned via a scanner in JPEG/TIFF form--July 4th 2011. If you'd want a PDF of the Chiltons' I could possibly round that up or rip if online someplace. I already have a program that rips eBooks & Kindle into PDF's page by page. I think I can round up an electronic Chilton to pirate. It'd take some searching.

however...

#5, The two years ('05-'07) I lived in Cali for film school, I spent as a bookworm. My bad. I didn't know this site existed. When it came to my California days and cars, my highlights were getting car jacked in SF's North Beach district in a '91 Laser, buying a handgun as a result, buying a '96 Suzuki X-90, selling afore mentioned turquoise Suzuki to some guy in the final stages of HIV/AIDS. Now I'm back in Iowa's Cedar Valley; FYI, the 2.2 hates San Francisco and its "hills".

#4 I'm 23. No one in my generation is good at staying in contact--unless text messaging is heavily utilized. Emails & Forums (no offense) are far too 1998.
