This may help, any K car from 1984-89 (yes, 1984) will swap right in to replace a regular type radio. The 81-83 model Ks have different wiring plugs on the back. Chrysler did have a odd am/fm non-stereo radio as an option, avoid it because the speaker plug is different. Some of the newer Mopar models might interchange too, am not sure. Check out these radios on ebay and see if the rear wiring plugs on various Mopar radios match your car. There may be an additional plug on a car that had the optional booster/equalizer unit, but the radio may still work without it.
