Well folks, there is now a club for GM X bodies. I know some of you may be rolling
your eyes about now, but I love ALL cars, even those I think are subpar. Anyway, this teenager in Canada has started the first official club for GM X bodies. He is as crazy about the X car as I am about the K-car. I have offered to give him advice
as he attempts to get his car club off the ground. Everybody tells him Citations are
junk. Everybody tells us K-car are junk. Welcome to the club. Here is the interesting link. You may not be a Citation lover, but you got admit its nice
to see a young person with such passion as we have. Also, someone in the Dodge Shelby Auto Club has an 84 Citation!

ugh, i test drove a 85 buick century with an 2.5 iron duke and let me tell you something NO BALLS!!!! my K-cars are way quicker than the GM 4 cylinder cars. Again mopar wins with a convertable, station wagon, minivan, sedan, Im 100 percent mopar, but i do like other cars as well.

MAAAAAAA- Where did we go wronnnnng?????

Just joking. To each their own, I would probably join a Pinto club if I ever run across one. When I and my wife got married she had an early Pinto- before they put all the government mandated junk on it. It had the larger engine, a 4-speed transmission and steel-belted tires (a relatively new thing then) and it was a blast to drive. Out-drove a jaguar sports car on a mountain road one time with it- although that can probably be blamed on the driver as much or more than the car. But I have fond memories of Pintos and think they got a bad rap. So again, to each their own.

I love the X versus K debates, be sure to tell them that Chrysler learned from the terrible early X cars and didn't make the same mistakes! Ask if they like being Number One, number one in having the record as the most recalled car in history! Just kidding, any of the 80's cars still around and useable now are the good ones, it was survivial of the fittest for most of them over the years. I like all of them, dozens of interesting 80's cars I would love to have just one more time!

Hey, give Guy a break, he only joined the club, he didn't change Religions :P  You have to see how the other half lives.
Interesting the my Dad had a a 2 dr Pheonix and my Aunt had a hatchback, both served them well. At the same time Dad had the Pheonix, he also ahd a Bobcat (aka Pinto) which is what he traded in on the 82 LeBaron Convertible that I am still driving.
My Aunt went on to a series of Chrysler Minivans.

Who else remembers the weird vertical radios the first Citations had?? Always thought it funny and fitting that the Citation took it's name from one of the Edsel models.

10 points for the club member who knows what former Edsel name Chrysler now owns!!
