My new daily.

Postby dodgeariesguy » Fri Sep 11, 2009 8:22 pm

Well after the loss of my Woody I got $21,000 from my collector car insurance, and I still plan to buy a few K's my parent's told me to buy something to use everyday that'll be safe and reliable, so I bought a Jeep. More specifically a 2007 Jeep Patriot Sport/North. New and reliable. I wanted an old Jeep Wangler or Grand Wagoneer, but again parents and their common sense (gas, reliablity, etc. etc.). I like it, it feels nice and remind's me of the 2nd Gen, Dodge Caravan.

There was an F2 tornado ripped through Durham, and demolished the storage building I kept the car in, and the insurance company called it a write off so here we are but thats it in a nutshell.

I still cannot believe you got 21,000 bucks for an Aries that's worth less than 3,000.... it seems like amazingly good things just keep happening to you car-wise. First you inherit a $50,000 muscle car, then you have 21K magically appear out of nowhere... and on top of that you buy another new car every two months "just for fun".... you are one lucky SOB, be greatful.

I have heard that from many people, but any futher spending has been ceased. I need the money I have left for tools (expensive), school (even more), etc.

P.S. The insurance money is a mix from the $15,000 insurance policy I was paying on it (interesting policy because you say "I want this much if its totaled." and you pay substatially more money a month) and the money from my Great-Aunt's farm insurance for being the cause of the damage. I'd still rather have the wagon though.
