i came accross a first gen on craigslist and its not to far away from my house, its a 2.2, going to look at it this weekend, if the floors are gone its not worth it

Some rust usually = more rust/rot that the seller can see/indentify. Well good luck with it anyway, you know what your looking for.

Looks like it has the 1981-83 dash... maybe they got the year wrong.

nope its a 84, how do i know this, pentastar in the grill, old dash with new guages, and steering wheel and the hubcaps
