Any photos of K car postal cars out there? In my area in the 80's all the local postal delivery mailmen were given K-car station wagons which replaced the fleet of small right hand drive delivery trucks.

In the ENTIRE CKCC, there was one person with a post85 K-Police Car, but he chose to be unresponsive. Also, Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base, California had an operating Reliant MP Vehicle as recently as 2002, but when I tried to contact the owner, he chose to be unresponsive. But, if I can find a police car, I will let you know. I think it would be cool if one of us here would turn a 4dr K into a police car. It could be done.

The closest I got to finding one is my old 88 Reliant. Not a real police package so it doesn't count but It had bumper guards, lock reinforcements and one of those old style security systems with a barrel lock under the dash that killed the ignition and pinned the hood shut. It was originally some sort of police vehicle in NYC.

Very cool!
In today's world, with the advent new more powerful four cylinder engines you might again see economical "pursuit" cars on the road.
A turbo police force.
