has any one painted the air intake on the hood of turbo cars a different colur. i want to paint it black rather than the blue it is. so it will stand out. or will it look silly.

I know friend of mine that is in his 60's painted his loovers charcoal gray on a white hood..his car also has red seat inserts and a red top..very nice Lebaron convertable he owns

well i did it. i painted the air intake and cargo rack gloss black. i will put up picks after it dries. i think it looks great.
