Chief,
I also like the exclusive feel of the Allante. They were few made in relation to a regular Cadillac and very expensive new. I think they are a bargain now, so I do want to get a nice white one with the hardtop when I can afford it. I still got a 93 Allante brochure I picked up at a dealer when it was new someplace in my storage.
I liked the power of the Northstar V8 and the cabin is very sharp looking with the LCD display on the radio, and the dash is cool as well. I did end up in a sharp white 94 Mark VIII for awhile that was minty fresh. It was a one owner fully loaded model from Ohio with 70K miles. I sold that to a girl I know who still loves it and drives it with great care. It was a very good, fast and reliable car overall.
