Nice car but you should find a winter beater if you dont want your reliant to rust out, no matter how well they are rust proof the salt still takes them, floors, rockers strut towers.

yea, every week i try to take it out to where my dad works and put it on the lift and pressure wash it really good underneath. this summer i hope to restore it, i shouldnt be too hard, there is only jus a few minor rust spots on it. and they are mostly surface rust.

no matter how well you wash them the salt will still take them. im sure you can find a cheap winter beater. Mine will be around for a long time, as they are sleeping in their sheds

Even if you don't drive them in winter it is a good idea to have them rustproofed every few years to hold back any rust that may have started over the years.

i really wish i could get another car, but i am still in high school, and dont have enought space to store another one, i really would like to save this from the salt, maybe next year i will have a place to store it, if i do restore it this summer, it will only be a fair weather car. i definately dont plan to let the car to go to waste, it isa a very fun car to drive
