We can thank the president of the Chrysler LeBaron Club of Netherlands for the new member above with the pictures. He found out about our club and was quite impressed. It seems
several European countries have K-car convertibles and are as highly sought over there as we would seek a Rolls Royce. As I have said before, it seems foreigners have more respect for the K-car than most Americans. We have a few British and two Frenchman in the club with K-cars. We have one inactive Pole with the only Aries in Poland. I would sure like to get some stats as to how many K-cars actually got imported overseas. 8)

A cluster from a dodge600? i didn't know that.
I bought this car in 2008 for 450 euro (330 US dollar) as a parts car.
Now the car is almost restored and looks fine.

404 LeBaron's are registered in 2009 in the netherlands.

Wow! Now how many of those are K-cars. Also, a K-car LeBaron is either the convertible between 82-86. the sedan 82-88, the coupe 82-86, or the wagon 82-88. Are there any other K-cars in the Netherlands? Do you have Dodge 400 or 600 convertibles in your club? Folks, have you noticed how popular K-car convertibles are in Europe and other nations? They have surfaced in France and UK as well. We definitely have a special car. 8)

By the way, how do you keep the 2.6 engine running? Believe it or not, your motor is a major source of disagreement in the club and everyone says that motor is horrible. I just spoke to a real K-car guru last night that said they can be made to last 300,000 miles. I think much of the bias is because it is a Japanese engine in an American car. 8)

After having a lot of new problems I've put a 3.0 V6 from a '92 LeBaron in my car. Now it drives good again :-)
