The Chrysler K-Car Club

Hi all, I just found this club and became a member. I just recently purchased a 1983 Dodge 400 and I am looking forward to driving it and getting to know the personalities here on the forum. As this is an older vehicle I expect I will need to ask from time to time for some knowledge that I am sure is in this club when I have issues with the car. As I said I just recently purchased this vehicle and I must say I think I stole it. The woman I purchased it from inherited it from her grandmother who purchased it new in 83. Today the Car has only 59,000 original km on it, it has never been winter driven and has absolutely no rust, scratches or dents on it and is mechanically A1. I only have one picture of it right now but when I take some more I will post it. Did I say I stole it, I paid $950 Cdn for it. I am very pleased and look forward to driving it for a long time.

Quite like that one. sleek in color, coupe to boot, vinyl top on the back, excellent contition well cared for... suprisingly, i have seen worse for sale at the same cost. 2.2 or 2.5/6? turbo?

i would also like to say that i want your hubcaps. mine came with those, but i mangled them in a small curbside accident

Thanks for the coments guys, only 100 left you say, wow. The lady who owned this ordered it from the factory, she picked the colours and tne plush velour red interior. She only drove it in the summer and put away for the winter, her longest trip in the car was about 20 miles to a neighbouring town once a week. I just got it home yesterday so I am just starting to explore this little gem. I have already noticed that the undercarriage is almost like new, the floors and body panels are almost in showroom condition. To my suprise the full size spare tire is original and still has all the nubbies on it, I really cant believe my luck. Later today I will take some better pictures of the car including the interior which is not faded and has no stains rips or marks on it anywhere and post it here, guess I am going to have to start going to car shows to show her off.
