Hi, Mike...that's not a bad idea! Tom: I purchased the tries at Richie Gomm's Tire, in West Milford, New Jersey. 973-728-0211.I got them in 2006; I'd imagine they are still available in whitewall. I can't believe a BF Goodrich Tire Dealer wouldn't be able to track you down a set. They go around $80-$90 each......

Thanks for the lead on the tires. I've tried Sears, Firestone and Goodrich tire stores. The only 185-70R-14 they carry has a thin whitewall. Probably 1/4".

I like to idea of meeting up in Red Bank for a cruise in. Is it too late in the year for you guys? I had my car out last weekend (top up)

Tom......I'll check with my tire guy.......if I can get them, and you agree, I'll buy them and deliver them. You'll pay for the tires, my mileage, gas and a small surcharge for delivery Actually, If I can get them, I'd deliver them for free, just to see your car. I'll let yuou know. As for the cruise....I'm game. If I come down, and Mike is agreeable.....make a day of it.

That would be great. First CKCC meet in New Jersey. I'll be with you in spirit. Would love to see pics.

Thank you for the kind offer. A local privately owned tire shop found and ordered just what I need. Mounting is scheduled for Monday afternoon.

You guys up for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon meet providing weather is good?

I can't this weekend. I have family things both days, but I'd like to meet up at some point.

Maybe if the weather is nice next weekend. The Molly Pitcher has a nice size parking lot, or The Colts Neck Inn. That would be half way for me and Tom, but Rich is going to have a little ride either way. Sorry.
