The headliner is in and the car is done. Ive only to treat it gently and keep it that way.
Oh... and keeping that damn carborator properly calibrated. My mechanic calls it "The Bitch."
Tomorrow he's doing a thorough inspection of the engine and undercarage to get me ready for the holiday season where i'll be traveling back and forth from Palm Springs to L.A. several times (about 100 miles in each direction). It has the tightness of a new car (which it is from a mileage standpoint). I got very lucky.

Heaven... I'm in Heaven...
Plenty of time for hell...later.

My mechanic says the car is in excellent shape. we adjusted the idle and did a complete insection of of the undercarrage. There is some surface rust in some of the crevases and the floorpan undercoating is cracked and peeling. All that I'll start working on and get it looking as good as the top of the car. I'm glad the car is'nt too perfect, otherwise I'd get bored.
