I have a original K car classic. My father and mother bought this 1983 eclass brand new. Both have passed on but I still have the car. I drove it for two years without a problem. Great car. I would like to sell it to a advid collector of these cars. I am the second owner with all original books etc. It decided to give up with a steering (rack bad) problem along with a power steering pump. Car is in great shape. I really enjoy this car forum. This is the original talking car. It still talks your leg off. Thanks

Man, I wish I lived closer. I bought one of those new in 83 and it was a great car and I'd love to have one again to restore. I keep holding out and hoping that one of these days one will come up for sale that's close and affordable. Probably hoping for too much to get both conditions together at the same time.

Well, there has not been a living 83 E-Class for sale in California since last year. The one I found in LA got sold. I would act sooner than later. They just aren't out there anymore. There was even a 2nd
one in the San Francisco Bay area advertised for $10,000, but the seller ignored my inquiry. If the car is that good a shape and I had the money, I'd fly out there and drive it home. The Hollywood Studio Car Lot has a collection of old cars they use for film shoots that sit outside for years. One of them is an 84 E-Class. I would like to get that for the club.
