Well, there has not been a living 83 E-Class for sale in California since last year. The one I found in LA got sold. I would act sooner than later. They just aren't out there anymore. There was even a 2nd
one in the San Francisco Bay area advertised for $10,000, but the seller ignored my inquiry. If the car is that good a shape and I had the money, I'd fly out there and drive it home.
The Hollywood Studio Car Lot has a collection of old cars they use for film shoots that sit outside for years. One of them is an 84 E-Class. I would like to get that for the club.
