1993 New Yorker 5th Ave

I have a 1993 New Yorker 5th Ave and I need to know where the BCM (body control module) is located.

My manual says the body control computer is located at the right front door opening behind the cowl trim panel.
The text below the figure says Body Computer (Behind right kick panel.)

(Right side means - passenger side)

Removal procedure:
(1) Remove the battery negative cable before removing the Body Controller.
(2) Remove the screws holding cowl trim and door opening scuff plate to cowl panel.
(3) Disconnect wiring connectors from body controller.
(4) Remove nuts holding body controller to cowl panel.
(5) Seperate bosy controller from vehicle.

k wagon.....are you sure you are not talking about a power/logic module setup like in an 86-87 k car? a 93 k based vehicle will be running an SBEC II with one under hood control unit. i may be mistaken about the location of other fuse block(s) though. i had a 91 dyansty 2.5 (SBEC I), but i got rid of it 7 years ago.

The question was about the Body Control Computer which is located in the interior. The 93 new Yorker Fifth Avenue has multiple computers. I think the Body Control Computer is for the alarm system and a few other functions. The powertrain control module and power distribution center are located under the hood in the vicinity of the battery.

gotcha....now i'm back on the right track. i don't usually think about security systems and all the other fancy gismos they stuffed into the C bodies.
