what could i do to my 1985 dodge 600 sedan to make it faster

Love the way my car looks but i would like it move just a little bit faster. It has the 2.2L engine that isn't turbocharged but what could i add to my car to make it accelerate better?

The first, and most obvious, has your car had a recent tune up? New plugs, wires cap, rotor? Second a couple of tankfulls of gas with SeaFoam in it to clean the fuel system along with changing the fuel filter if it has one. Switching to a K&N type air filter (if available) and make sure emissions stuff is working correctly.

How much "junk in the trunk" do you have? Lighter car= better acceleration, clean out the unnecessary stuff to reduce weight. Tires inflated to correct PSI?

These are lower cost ideas to help you move a "little bit faster" If you wan't more it is going to cost $$$.
