Electrical possible

Postby dollfin1916 » Mon Apr 11, 2016 6:00 pm

I have an 87 plymouth reliant 2.5. I'm having a few electrical problems with the car. I've gone threw and gotten the codes of the car replaced the sensors that were said to be bad three times and they are still showing codes even after disconnecting the battery to reset the computer after that I got pretty upset and let it sit for a few months I'm getting back to the point. I want to try and figure it the problem. I thought about redoing the wiring but I can't find a harness. The next idea that has come into my head is the computer might be bad. Anyone have any ideas

See the minimopar links below which gives various suggestions as to potential problems for each of the fault codes in addition to the sensors, e.g., wiring connections, computers, grounds, etc. (Note the 87 has 2 computers).
