No Spark From Coil

I recently bought an 86 Plymouth Reliant Coupe 2.2L from a local trade school. When i bought the car there were no fuses or relays under the steering wheel. Theyve all be replaced and i bought a new coil. There are a few wires not plugged into anything and nothing near by to plug them into. The car turns over and gets gas and accessories work, just no spark. Any ideas?? Car did run a few months ago

Start with checking for any fault codes. See Minimopar link:
http://minimopar.net/fault/index.html

Maybe autoshutdown relay or
bad computer or
bad Hall effect sensor in distributor or
broken timing belt or
bad ground

Some connectors are for options that you car may not have.

You might also find some troubleshooting info at the Allpar website.

I looked into it a little more. I have good ohms from the negative wire to the negative battery terminals. The positive wire to the coil has about 11 volts when not touching anything but then it loses power when it touches the coil or anything else. Yeah

Is it possible that there is a missing relay or anything from the coil? Any Pictures of the coil and wires around it?

Fixed it. Hall Effect sensor in the distributor. Runs great now
