I thought it was awesome that Jennifer Love Hewitt drove an Aries in the original I Know What You Did Last Summer. Granted that car would have been barely 10 years old when the movie came in 1997, but certainly an interesting choice of transportation, given that her character came from high class society and you'd expect rich parents would buy her something a bit more upmarket!

As for action sequences involving K cars.....the cop chase with Jennifer Gray driving the family woody wagon in Ferris Bueller's Day Off is one of my favorites, not to mention that half the vehicles in The Wraith were Mopars (a couple Daytonas, many of the cop cars and the mid engine - twin cam - turbo powered "Wraith" vehicle itself).

I was watching Jim Carrey's movie, Liar Liar this past weekend and there is a scene in the movie where he is picking up his Mercedes-Benz after it had been impounded. In the background, among the other vehicles
that were towed, there is a Chrysler Lebaron convertible (blue with a white convertible top) in the background parked. It looks like it could be a 1984 or 1985 model. I was really surprised to see it in the movie and it looked like it was in good condition.

but consider the age of the car in a movie that came out in 1997 i think. 12 or 13 years old and in a climate where the roads don't get salted. and it's a used car in a impound yard...not hard to believe!

If you have not seen the movie, St. Elmo's Fire, it is a must see as there is a 1984 Chrysler Lebaron Mark Cross Convertible (beige with a tan convertible top) in the movie which was able to drive pretty good in the snow and icy cold weather! The movie was made in 1985 so this was during a time when the K-Cars were really popular.
