Stripped a RARE car today

A 1990 VNT Daytona was found in an Ontario J/yard by Boyd ( SDAC member ). Since he's already got a few of the hard to find 568 tran's he didn't grab the one in that yard. This car only had 111K on it ! VERY restorable collector car. I drove 52 miles to the yard to get that trans, shifter and cables for John L ( another SDAC member). Price was $176 for all. Cheapest these trans go for used is around $400. I sure he'll want to get some 3.50 gears for it. It was a real heart breaker strippng that rare car. Only 1 K car there too.
