Hello Fellow New Englanders who hold their K-cars in high esteem. Welcome to the New England Chapter link. It is my hope that we can work together to locally promote the great K-car in the Northeast. I would love to hear from you with comments and suggestions. I am not too great with the computer as of yet, but I am learning, so please be patient with me.

Thanks,
Kay

Hi All,
Just an update. A new chapter has formed that represents predominantly Connecticut but includes the whole East Coast.
Jeff Lepak is the leader. This new chapter overlaps with the New England region, so I defer to Jeff. We will however keep this chapter up and running for now. [I see no need for our own website at this time, but thank you for the interest. ]
On an exciting note, Jeff has arranged for Connecticut K-Cars to be included in a car show on May 16 in Stratford, CT.
We are hoping for a good showing. I will let you know how it goes.
Thanks,
Kay

Let me know how I can help you guys.To start, I will email you an updated roster. I've had to learn some people skills as it takes a lot of persuasion to ensure that people show up. But, the show itself it well worth the effort. 8)

Hi all,
The car show on May 16, sponsored by the Connecticut Seaport Car Club, was a great success. Of the well over 100 cars in the show, there were three K Cars -- a good representation in my opinion for the first endeavor. Our cars drew much interest and received good support. Our thanks goes to Jeff Lepak for recruiting the CT K's for the show. We had a lot of fun and we couldn't have asked for a nicer day weatherwise. I am sure there will be a lot of future opportunities to display our K Cars in Connecticut and the surrounding New England region. I eagerly look forward to such events and to meeting more of you K-Car enthusiasts. I will hopefully have some pictures to display soon.

Don't know where else to post this, but I need you guys to keep an eye out for an 85-89 aries 4 door with a MINT body. blown engine/trans, wrecked interior, etc is fine as all i need is a REALLY nice donor for sheetmetal for my 86 aries wagon. hate to cut up a good wagon (why even bother?) when the more prevalent 4 doors can donate door skins (my doors are fine), rockers and nearly all the sheetmetal below the belt line other than at the very tail end. figuring it might be easier and cheaper for my local resto shop guy to use a donor for repair panels rather than custom fab it considering the extensive lower rot. no rush on this....hoping to maybe get it in the shop this fall/winter. it needs to be a roller so i can haul it back on a tow dolly. So keep a keen eye out for me guys and gals and you might just get to see my resto-mod wagon at car shows in the years ahead. got to show the import crowd what a 2500 lb k car with a 2.5T2 package, and full rt/shelby chassis package and aftermarket goodies can do!!!
