good luck.....no k based car is worth 3 grand unless it is a spirit r/t or daytona shelby in nice shape and the value is in the more exotic drivetrains, not in the car itself. people buy k cars because they are cheap (but good) and i could go out and buy a late model taurus wagon with leather interior for 3 grand. i am planning to restore my 86 k wagon and i will put many grand into the body, but i'm doing it because i am attached to the car, not because it is economically worth the investment. if you lower your price to under a grand, you may have much better luck selling it.......3 grand is a lot to pay for an econo box that is over 20 years old. unfortunately, reality is not always a nice thing.....

My goal as club president is to encourage the prices of these classics to appreciate. In 10 years, when the Chrysler as we know it no longer exists and these K-cars
have been scrapped down to a scant few (the 1st gens are already at these stage), then I think the prices will be much higher. I think in 2020 $4000-5000 for a mint
1981 Dodge Aries Coupe should not be unreasonable. Nada alreadys places our cars in the $2000-$3000 range for mint condition. I say try to sell for a high price and work
your way down in price as time goes on.
