Wanted: Right Front Fender 85 600/Lebaron

I need a front fender for my 600Turbo Convertible. I am having it repainted and I need the correct fender for this car. This fender was previously replaced and someone used a standard fender. The fender that I need has the cutout for decorative vent on the side. It will then match the drivers side of the car and will be the way it was from factory. I am still looking for a right front fender for my 85 600 turbo convertible. I have called every salvage yard in my area and checked all over the net and still no fender. It needs to have the stamped area for the decorative vent. One yard mentioned that this was a turbo only fender, possibly a convertible only fender, I am unsure. Please contact me if you know where I can find one. I was supposed to have the car painted over Thanksgiving but it is not going to happen until I either find a fender or rework/fabricate this on the existing fender.

Sorry about the delay. Try calling Marty Mopar of Arizona Parts in Phoenix at 480-966-6683. Tell him the club president refered you. They should have your fender most likely.

There's a thread on turbo-mopar. Turbo kid in Kansas shared a pic of a 600 w/vent. Maybe he can get it for you.

The 84 LeBaron (with 2.6) I have has no vent in the fender, but my 85 600 ES turbo does. So I believe you are right and will need a "turbo fender".

All the Dodge 400/600 cars used the fender vent wether they were turbos or not.Heck,the 400 never got a turbo for 82/83 years,and the 600 never had a turbo for 83.

The car was scheduled to be painted over Thanksgiving but I did not find a fender. I sent out mail to people who said that they would have one and never received a reply. I could not find a fender in time so I had one fabricated. It is in the paint shop right now. The man doing the body work is taking pictures of the progress, you can check it out at

It is supposed to be finished by 1/4/10. I am anxious to get it back. I had it for sale and am glad now that it did not sell. Merry Christmas to all!!!

Yes, I am painting it the original (gold)color. I am deviating from factory in that I am painting the vents on the hood and the headlight trim satin black. The top was new in spring 2009 and is also changed from the factory buckskin top. I think this looks good together as the windshield frame, side body mouldings, mirrors, and door handles are all black. It was supposed to be painted this Friday, New Years day, but we had bad weather today and the paint supply house was not making deliveries and closed early. He will not get the supplies until next week and is planning on primering it today or tomorrow and putting down the urethane base coat/clear coat next Saturday 1/9/10. He is planning on adding more pictures as the progress continues. Thanks for asking and Happy New Year to all!!
