In need of gold leather int. for 85-600ES

Well, the title about says it all, but I've finally gotten a car I've wanted since 1985. A fully loaded Gold 600ES convertible. I've had an 85 and an 86 LeBaron convertible before (all turbo's) and loved them! I've recently sold a couple of my collectibles and ran across this so I HAD to grab it.

The main thing I need to do is replace all the seats and I want to do that with as original material as possible.

Has anyone restored any of these (leather int.) before and/or have any suggestions on where to get the leather.

I also have to redo the top and wondered if anyone had any suggestions on where the best price/value is for one. (I actually need to do tops on 3 of my cars. Sigh!)

I also just bought is an 86 Lebaron GTS Turbo... Another car I really wanted back when! I'm sure I'm going to have a lot more questions on both of these soon. I'm also considering a couple other mid 80s Turbo's but don't know what I'll end up with just yet.

Looking forward to any info on either of these anyone would like to supply... I never turn down good info!

Any reputable automotive upholsterer will have the network to order OEM material if it's still available. If not then go with a pre-cut custom leather kit like Best Leather Kits, who ship nationally.

If nothing else, I've got a couple newer cars I'd love to get either changed to leather, or 'better' leather in them so I'm liking this site a lot!

PS. If anyone finds or knows of any good mark cross interiors (I'm up in Portland OR so I'll have to think of the shipping aspect) for BOTH my 85 600ES turbo (GOLD ONLY) or my 86 600SE (but want a MC int. in it) Please let me know.

Sadly, of the 4 cars I would like to get new leather for they've only got the patterns for my 2009. They say they could make them so I may end up doing that... Does anyone else need to get new leather for a mid 80s Mark cross int? It could help with the patterning for them.
