Saw a Beautiful Dodge Aries 2 door Coupe

I headed over to a Pick and Pull between Vacaville and Fairfield (CA) today to try and find some parts for my 68 Fury. On the way back, I saw the obvious rear of a K car just a few cars ahead of me in the city traffic, and when I finally got on the freeway, lo and behold, there it was right in front of me. It was a yellow 2 door Dodge Aries Coupe, probably around 1985/86. There was an older couple driving it whom I suspect bought it brand new and have kept it maintained over the years ever since. It looked brand new. It was a beautiful little thing to watch going down the road. You guys would have loved it.

btw, while I was at the Pick and Pull I saw what had to be pretty close to at least a half dozen K cars in one model or another- two or three, maybe more, of the stock Dodge and Plymouth models, a New Yorker, and an E-Class (the body on that thing was straight! If I'd had the money I would have bought the whole car, had it loaded on a truck and brought it home so I could fix it up, it looked that good). The K cars were in the rows along with all the Chrysler brand cars they had in stock, so it doesn't look like they intend to send them to the crusher anytime soon. (I'll put this info in the Cars and Parts section too, in case anyone is interested in checking it out.)

Thanks Baron. Pictures please if you can. Whoever junked that E-Class didn't stop to think that they junked one of the rarest K-cars. Only two have appeared for sale in California online in the last 12 months. Of course, I will continue to tempt you with any E-Class that pops up for sale in our state. It won't be very often though. They are getting cleaned out.

Sorry, no pictures, we were both driving the freeway in busy traffic, no chance for pictures. Didn't think of using my phone camera at the wrecking yard, but I will try to be more aware of that possibility in the future.
